Academic probation implementation in higher education institutions aims to ensure that students are meeting academic standards and making satisfactory progress toward their degree or program requirements. It serves as a warning not these performance needs improvement. Hence, the purpose of this study was unveil lived experiences board who have undergone period. The is qualitative research utilizing phenomenological approach. This used purposive sampling. participating ten were identified divided equally for in-depth interviews focus group discussion. data gathered analyzed through use coding thematic analysis. Results revealed from responses regarding experiences: (1) feeling self-doubt, (2) gained due limited units, (3) fear judgment, (4) being challenged strive more, (5) kept on blaming self. In response challenges they encountered, emphasized following coping mechanisms essential: (6) gaining motivation significant others, (7) managing time properly, (8) becoming optimistic, (9) having an attitude acceptance. Also, upon reflecting overall experiences, highlighted insights: (10) never giving up, taking full responsibility amidst results, (11) challenging policy with purpose, (12) self-realizations, (13) avoiding advantage. results implied there certain interventions be made within institution extend assistance students’ situations, such tutorial sessions, enhance guidelines strengthen collaboration its stakeholders. therefore deemed highly contributes body knowledge related by institutions.
